JP's Birthday

On Oct. 8, 2009 Craig received a call from our social work with LDS Social Services. Julie asked if we were ready for a baby. Craig said yes and we were on our way to Oxnard to meet a wonderful birth mother the next day. We couldn't sleep Thursday night and wondered what JP would look like and what was going through the birth mothers mind. As we met with her we found her to be a loving person that wanted better life for him. We talked for about 4.5 hours and got to know her and found out that JP has five other siblings. It is now a year later and JP has turned one today. As we left that day we thanked her for allowing us to adopt JP and thank her so much for her trust in us to love him. We would like to take a moment now and thank her again for blessing our lives. We have never posted this picture but feel now is the time to post it. She has contacted us in the last few weeks and has said she can she the love we have for him. We want her to know that we do love him so much and are grateful that he is apart of our lives. Today on his first birthday we say thank you and he has blessed us in way you will never know. He is loved by a big family and his big sister loves him.
